Amen, Brother

Every one of us who works in the tech industry has seen this scene play out:

“So and so does xyz so much better than us; how do we catch up?”

That is so not the point. The point is to figure out some other axis on which to win.

And this week at the Red Herring CMO conference, Stephen DiFranco, SVP of AMD said this:

“Don’t envy your competitors; this has done more for hurting AMD than anything Intel could do to us.”

Said well.
