Ask Rubi

Question for January 20, 2008

What’s your favorite book / HBR article on winning market share? Are there good ones besides Geoffrey Moore?

submitted by: Dave Hersh, CEO, Jive Software

Rubi Says…

One is an article from HBR on Strategies to Fight Rivals. I like the way it lays out competitive plays. Turns out HBR stuff is now easily available on Amazon, here.

Next, a focused on stage of market stuff which helps put a construct of what to do given the macro context, called: How Industries Evolve: Principles for Achieving and Sustaining Superior Performance

Finally, a book that lays out share and growth moves. Its specifically on share strategies.

Sincerely,
Rubi
