Bruce applies 20 years of high-tech marketing experience to client projects with an analytical focus that invariably gets to the root of the problem, allowing for highly focused solutions.

Bruce writes on business models and pricing & licensing challenges, the challenges facing product management, and has led projects in market definition for SMB products, education solutions marketing, and visioning work to help companies define their mission or, define their growth strategy.

Like the rest of the Rubicon team, Bruce is not a career consultant, but brings Rubicon’s clients real-world experience honed in a variety of high-tech industries and roles, ranging from hardware to financial services to material sciences, and product management to strategic marketing.

His past responsibilities include Director of Industry Marketing for Docent (now SumTotal Systems), Director of Strategic Marketing for the Internet Commerce Group at First Data Corporation, and a variety of product & service marketing, product management and partner management roles at Cornerstone Imaging, Farallon, and Raychem.
